Information and purposes
We process connection and security data to deliver and protect the websites. If you buy an MP3 or request support, we process the contact, account, order and message details you provide to fulfil the purchase or respond. Payment details are handled by Stripe; our store receives payment status and transaction information. Optional Google Analytics receives device and usage information only after consent. Optional external support or media providers receive connection information when loaded.
Legal bases and recipients
We rely on consent for optional browser tracking; contract performance for requested purchases; legitimate interests for proportionate security and support; and legal obligations for required business records. Recipients include our hosting provider Amazon Web Services, payment provider Stripe, and optional providers you allow, including Google Analytics and UserVoice. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights. Our website configuration does not enable advertising, sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Retention
Your browser choice lasts 180 days. We retain consent evidence for up to three years to document choices and handle disputes, with daily consent-database backups cycling out after 30 days. Infrastructure disaster-recovery snapshots follow their separate retention cycle and are not used for active processing. Order, payment, support and security records are kept for their operational purpose and applicable accounting, security or legal obligations; retention depends on the type of record and any legal hold. Optional providers have their own retention settings and policies. Cookie expiry is separate from retention of information already received.
International processing and rights
We are based in the United States and use US hosting. Providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, the relevant transfer must be covered by an appropriate legal mechanism; you can contact us for information about the safeguards applying to your data. Contact privacy@surfcityapps.com to exercise rights, including through an authorised agent where allowed. We may request proportionate verification. California and other US state rights apply subject to the law’s scope and exceptions. You can also contact your local data protection authority. Scope and changes
Our consent cookie covers surfcityapps.com, www and the es, fr, de, ja, ru, tw, cn and mp3 subdomains. The deprecated shop remains retired. A parent-domain consent cookie is sent by the browser to Surf City Apps subdomains, including subdomains hosted by our service providers. It does not carry to bubblz.ai, successminds.com, another device or another browser. Material changes to optional purposes require a new choice.
